What if I am having trouble registering online? If you are having trouble registering online there are a few things that you can try before contacting ACTIVE.
1.) If it says that the registration is closed before the expected sell-out date, make sure that the listed race date at the top is for the correct year. (Previous year’s registrations are still listed up on Active.com)
2.) If the year is correct, try refreshing your browser (by pressing F5 on your keyboard)/*.
3.) If it still doesn’t work, try closing out the window and starting over completely.
4.) If you are still having trouble registering, you will need to contact Active’s Customer service. The phone number for Active’s customer service is: 1-877-228-4881 or you can e-mail email@example.com.
Why is there a $10 late fee to pick up your packet on the morning of the race?
We charge a $10 late fee on the morning of the race for several reasons. We discourage participants from picking up their packet on the morning of the race to prevent long lines at registration on race morning, to allow for any registration changes to be made prior to race morning, and to allow participants to ask last minute questions that they may have prior to race morning.
What is the mailback option?
For a fee of $15, we mail you out your race number, swim cap, and race information 5 days prior to the race. You do not need to attend the pre-race expo the day before the race. With the mailback option, your timing chip and wristband will be available on race morning at the VIP booth. You will also be able to pick up your T-shirt before the race.
If I already registered and I want to add the mailback option, how do I do so?
If you are already registered and you want to add the Mailback option, you will need to email our Registration Director at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can add the option for you. If you registered online, the additional fee will be charged to the card that you paid with on ACTIVE. If you mailed in your registration, you will need to mail a check into the office for the additional fee. Once the race is sold out- it is too late to add the mailback option. Please check to make sure it is not past the deadline date before requesting to have the mailback option added.
If I missed the deadline, is there anyway I can still sign up for the mailback option?
No, the deadlines that we post are the final deadlines.
If I signed up for the mailback option where do I get my T-shirt?
Your t-shirt will be available at the race day registration table and after you cross the finish line.
What is the VIP option?
For a fee of $30, we organize your race number, swim cap, goodie bag, timing chip and T-shirt and have them available for you on the morning of the race. You will report to the VIP table and then proceed to your special area in the transition area in your assigned spot. You do not need to attend the pre-race expo the day before the race.
If I already registered and I want to add the VIP option, how do I do so?
If you are already registered and you want to add the VIP option, you will need to email our Registration Director at email@example.com and we can add the option for you. If you registered online, the additional fee will be charged to the card that you paid with on ACTIVE. If you mailed in your registration, you will need to mail a check into the office for the additional fee. Once the race is sold out- it is too late to add the VIP option.
If I signed up for the VIP option, can I still go to the expo the day before to pick up my packet?
Can I pay for a special spot in the transition area without signing up for the VIP option?
The VIP option is the only way to have your spot reserved in the transition area with your name on the bike rack.
We’re sorry, but Superfrog Triathlons does not guarantee any refunds. If you are interested in purchasing event insurance which can offer you a refund if needed, please purchase this through active.com as you are registering for the event.
Transfers: The SUPERFROG Triathlon does not allow transfers of any kind. SUPERFROG, Inc understands that plans change, athletes get injured, and military deployments get moved around. We ask that you, our valued customer, understand that we plan for your experience well in advance of the event. We incur costs as far as 9 months out.
What do I need to bring when I come to the expo?
All you need when you come to the expo is your ID. NO ID- NO BIB NUMBER. You will need to look up your bib number, sign the waiver (if haven’t already) and then pick up your bib in order of bib number. We will check your ID when you give us your waiver.
If I can’t make it to the expo, can I have my friend pick up the race materials for me?
Unfortunately we are unable to allow friends or family members to pick up bib numbers. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST PICK UP THEIR OWN RACE MATERIALS. If you can’t make it to the expo you can register for the mailback option, the VIP option, or choose to pay the $10 late fee to pick up on race morning. Those under the age of 18 will need to have an adult sign the waiver and be present to pick-up the race packet.
Didn’t I already sign a waiver when I registered on ACTIVE?
The waiver that you sign on Active when you register is different than the one you sign when you pick up your packet. If you don’t want to sign the waiver then you will not be allowed to participate in the race.
Why do we need to put on the wristband before receiving our race materials?
Those not wearing a wristband will not be allowed into the transition zone. The wristband insures your safety and ours. The wristband is to insure that only those who have signed the waiver will be participating in the race. If your wristband was taken off before the race, you will not allowed into the transition zone without your ID or a copy of your ID. There will be exceptions if you do not have your wristband or ID with you.
