Beneficiaries:
All SUPERFROG proceeds, less costs, go to the SEAL – Naval Special Warfare Family Foundation, the Optimists Club of Coronado, and the Islander Sports Foundation.

2013 Race Features:
The 2013 race features chip timing and a post-race party with refreshments, beer garden, live entertainment and an awards ceremony. ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A HIGH QUALITY T-SHIRT AND GOODIE. SUPERFROG participants will receive finisher medals. Awards to the top 3 finishers in each category for both races.

SUPERFROG Course:
The swim is 1.2 miles in the open ocean. The water temperature will be approximately 58 degrees. Wetsuits are strongly recommended. The bike course will be a flat and fast 56 mile bike course that will consist of four loops on Highway 75. Safety certified helmets are required for the bike portion of the race. The run is a 13.1 mile course on soft sand, hard sand, and hard pavement. The run will be composed of two loops.

Cut-off times:
Swim – 1 hour from wave start
Bike – 3 hours
Run – 3 hours
Overall cut-off time of 7 hours to complete the SUPERFROG.

Race Check In:
All race participants must attend the mandatory pre-race check-in on Saturday, September 28th, 2013 from 10:00am to 3:00pm. The expo location is at Loews Coronado Bay Resort.

If you won’t be able to attend the pre-race check in, please choose the VIP or Mail-Back option.

VIP Check In:
Can’t make it to race check-in? For a fee of $30, your race numbers, waiver, swim cap, and shirt will be ready for your on race day at the VIP check in booth. You will also have a special marked bike race in the transition area.

Mail-back Option:
For a fee of $15, receive your race materials, except for your timing chip, in the mail at least 5 days prior to the race. YOUR TIMING CHIP WILL NOT BE MAILED TO YOU. YOU WILL NEED TO PICK UP YOUR TIMING CHIP ON RACE MORNING AT THE VIP BOOTH! YOU DO NOT need to attend the pre-race check in.

Late Check In:
Those who do not choose the VIP, Mail-back option, or attend the pre-race check in, MUST PAY A LATE CHECK-IN FEE OF $10 ON RACE DAY.

Refund and Transfer Policy

REFUNDS:
Our refund policy will allow you to receive the following refunds:
-50% of your registration fee up to 90 days before the event. (By midnight June 29, 2013).
-25% of your registration fee up to 14 days before the event. (By midnight September 15, 2013).

TRANSFERS:
The SUPERFROG Triathlon does not allow transfers of any kind.
SUPERFROG, Inc understands that plans change, athletes get injured, and military deployments get moved around. We ask that you, our valued customer, understand that we plan for your experience well in advance of the event. We incur costs as far as 9 months out.
